I'm fairly familiar with the teams in this regional. And, based on how they've done in the past along with the competition they've faced this year I like our chances to move out of regional competition and on to the Super Regionals.

Now, if we happened to run in to NC in the Super's...

Coastal Carolina (Big South) plays a decent game. I'd put them on par with some of the teams we've faced this year (Troy, Dallas Baptist, etc.) East Carolina is a pretty good squad in their own right.

It would be quite a feat to make it to a Super Reg. especially considering the SEC coaches picked BAMA to finish last in the West.

Are you sure we would play NC in the super regional? I was thinking maybe Georgia who we have beaten 3 out of 4.

What a heartbreaking Super Regional series with NC 2 years ago, that guy that hit the HR in the bottom 9th with 2 outs...it was an entertaining series though nonetheless.

"that guy' was Chad Flack, who had already hit a 3run HR in the 8th inning. Who was batting in the 9th with first base open. DUH! Well guess what? HE'S STILL THERE! He is a Senior this year.

Yeah, I hate that guy. It took a while for me to remember that game the next morning.
