BAMA off to a rough start so far, but it's early enough to rebound...

Terrible rounds for the Tide
Matt Hughes 90
I know the course is extremely difficult but no excuse for that type of score.
Got to get better tomorrow to have a chance.

From the looks of things at this point in Round 2, it appears our golfers should have spent more time on the practice range instead of talking to the media about how the NCAA committee disrespected them in the seedings.
We have thusfar laid a giant egg - in both the Regional and now in the Championship tournament. Looks like we will be in roughly 12th place heading into the 3rd Round tomorrow - and about a dozen or so shots out of the lead. We will probably be closer to the cut line than the Top 5.
A real disappointment to an otherwise promising year. And with three or four of the regulars being Seniors, next year is not exactly a bounce-back opportunity.

71 (Hughes) with 3 double bogeys
73 (Harrell) had a triple bogey
74 (Thompson) with a double bogey
79 (Swan) 2 double bogeys
82 (Sykora)8 bogeys and a double
Got to avoid the high numbers and we clearly didnt do that.
Prob gonna make the cut but not by much
Props to Hughes for coming back strong today with an under par round..... Could have been a killer round without the high numbers though
