The SEC wants fewer games between the same teams, thus the flipped bracket. Why not go to a round robin format like the ACC's and Big12's? There are NO duplicated opponents in that format. Also it is much better for the fans. You can go to the tournament and know that your team won't be packed up and headed home before you are unpacked and settled in the Hotel or Motel or RV lot or whatever.
