Not unfair
| Quote: | Alonzo Gee Alabama Jr. F 6-6 220 No
Gee is just testing the waters unless he's being silly. |
| Quote: | Richard Hendrix Alabama Jr. F 6-8 260 No
A lot of people wonder whether Hendrix's game will translate to the NBA, and those people make a fair point. |
| Quote: | Ronald Steele Alabama Jr. G 6-1 191 No
Nobody should be surprised if Steele ends up on the injured reserve list at the NBA Predraft Camp. |

Seems like a pretty good analysis to me. As I've said before, a healthy Ron Steele is a first round pick. If he stays in the best that can happen is a late second round pick. If he comes back and plays next year and stays healthy he is once again a first rounder.
After watching the exploits of Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan in the NBA playoffs, you see just what RH is lacking as an NBA power forward.
The Gee comment said it all.

What does he lack?

An offensive game that is effective further than 8 feet from the basket, and the capability to defend outside the paint.

It is being reported on TI that Alonzo Gee has withdrawn his name from the NBA draft. Since this happened before the NBA pre draft camp, the logical conclusion would be that he did not get an invite. (I think they invite 64 players from among Europeans, underclassmen and seniors they aren't sure about.)

Just don't see why this decision was that hard to make. Something tells me Gee isn't very humble...

Didn't Hendrix graduate? If so that may influence him but both he and Steele would be smart to come back. But as mentioned this is a great way to learn what they need to do to improve.
Someone may take a chance on Hendrix but I have no idea why Steele would go. He would have to ABSOLUTELY light it up at the camp but still he would not be taken before a lot of guys because of his injuries. I would guess he isn't even in the top 6 or 7 PG on most boards.

Yes, Hendrix has graduated. As to RS, I agree with you there as well.

That I know about. Sadly, I'm seeing things that remind me of TOS...Bama site that I used to be associated with.

Please. I could go on and on and on. I like Brett, don't get me wrong, good guy. But, his idea is all about turning a buck. I have a lot of respect for Red, but his attitude seems to be turning. Gradin...still the same guy that gets taller when he takes Viagra.
