Well, the reviews that I read said it would average about 550 shots on 4 fully charged batteries. Plus, if you are out somewhere traveling with no charger or no power, it would be really convenient to be able to pop in 4 new batteries if the rechargeables ran out.
That was always a problem with the Sony compact I had. If I took it camping or something and the battery ran out, that was it. I guess I could've bought another battery, but those things are more expensive than a 4 pack of alkalines.

I worked for Gibson from 98-03. I've been with Mapex for 4 years.

Bocephus is the man...What I would give to see him before he stops touring. He has been my biggest fan since I was little. My dad played his music along with Sr. all the time. Hard to find real country like that now a days.
