Fox Sports is reporting that RH is staying in the draft. I know we all hoped he'd come back for one more year, but I wish him the best in his NBA career.
No word on Ron Steele as yet. The deadline is 4:00 pm today, central time.

Steele has announced he's staying for one more year. Hendrix' father said he has had some good workouts and that the primary reason he's staying in the draft.
Good luck to him! 2nd rounder, at best, is how I see it...

RH has really shone in the workouts, from what I've read. DraftExpress even reported that he was hitting mid range jumpers and knocking down free throws.

Best of luck to him. I can't blame him for not coming back.

The guy has his degree, and chances are another year unr CMG is not going to improve his draft status, so I agree. Best of luck to him.

One article I read yesterday said that RH's downside from the NBA perspective was that at 6'8" he was short as power forwards go, and coming back for another season wouldn't help that.

Exactly. He's just too small. If he doesn't get drafted this year, he likely wouldn't next year either. Worst case, he heads overseas and pulls in about a million a year, and like Bo said, he has his degree in communications to fall back on too. He is a very bright kid.

6'8 Rebounding Machine
By no means am I saying Hendrix = Rodman, but hats off to Hendrix for leading the SEC in rebounds as a Jr. He has the drive. I'm pulling for him.

It will be much easier for me to pull for Richard than it ever was to pull for Rodman. As much as I loved the Bulls and MJ it was hard to pull for the Worm.
